QuickBitcoin Terms & Conditions


    General Agreement
  1. These terms and conditions apply to a private individual (“you”) or any owner or director of a business operating the account on it’s behalf (“you”) intending to do business on the QuickBitcoin website (“us”).
  2. You must be the owner or the trustee of the money you are intending to transfer.
  3. You must be 18 years or older to use this service
  4. You must be ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom with a local GBP bank account to use this service.
  5. You acknowledge that if you are a US citizen or are acting on behalf of a US corporation you are not able to use any of our services even if you are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom or have dual nationality with another country.

    User Accounts
  1. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or close a user account entirely at our discretion.
  2. We will ask you to provide documentation proving your identity and/or documentation proving your source and destination of funds. Failure to provide such documentation will result in your account being suspended and/or transactions being refused or cancelled.
  3. You acknowledge that as part of our account opening procedure we will need to identify you (and your co-owners/directors/shareholders if a body corporate) and a search footprint maybe added by Credit Reference Agencies to your electronic credit file and your personal details and account activity may be provided to third parties for the specific purpose of anti-money laundering, identity verification, tracing and fraud investigation and prevention.
  4. You acknowledge that we will provide details of your account ownership and the orders made through it if we are lawfully demanded this information by any UK government authority.

    Transactions
  1. We strive to complete transactions as quickly as possible, however, we reserve the right to refuse accept any transaction without reason and without incurring liability to you for any resulting loss or damages incurred by you or any third party.
  2. If you wish to enter into a transaction with QuickBitcoin, you may do so by placing an transaction via the Order Form and depositing the correct amount of funds into the nominated bank account, using the reference provided. Until we receive confirmation from our bank that the funds have been deposited, the transaction is not considered open.
  3. Once a transaction has been opened and you have confirmed sending payment, you may not cancel or change the transaction.
  4. You acknowledge that the price of bitcoin fluctuates and therefore we reserve the right to cancel or amend your transaction based on the following principles: If the QuickBitcoin bitcoin price increases by more than 15% from the time you place your transaction to the time we come to process it, your transaction will be cancelled and your funds returned. If the QuickBitcoin bitcoin price decreases by more than 15% from the time you place your transaction to the time we come to process it, we will reduce your purchase price to the market rate and you will receive additional coins. If the QuickBitcoin bitcoin price does not change by more than 15%, no changes will be made to your transaction.
  5. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to provide QuickBitcoin with accurate bank details in transaction to return your funds if a refund is required. QuickBitcoin will not be liable for any delay or loss of funds resulting in incorrect bank details being provided by you.
  6. While we strive to complete all transactions as quickly as possible, due to the nature of hosting a service on the internet, we are sometimes subject to outages which are out of our control. In the case of such an outage, we will do our very best to ensure proper service is resumed and transactions are processed as quickly as possible.
  7. You acknowledge that we only accept money via online bank transfers.
  8. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or close a transaction at our discretion and refund to you the consideration you have sent to us.
  9. All payments must be cleared in full, including any transaction fees before we process your transaction.
  10. In the event that your crypto funds are sent to the wrong address as a result of a mistake by you, and we have acted in accordance with the information you have provided, we will be under no obligation to attempt to recover the funds and assume no liability on the loss.
  11. You acknowledge that if you instruct us to send the wrong type of cryptocurrency to a wallet address as a result of a mistake by you, and we have acted in accordance with the information you have provided, we will be under no obligation to attempt to recover the funds and assume no liability on the loss.
  12. In the event that you send your (money) funds to the wrong bank account as a result of a mistake by you, and the details listed on our site are accurate, we will be under no obligation to accept your transaction and we will not assume any liability for the loss.
  13. You acknowledge that we are not liable for the non performance of any third party you send your cryptocurrency to and that once it is sent it is not recoverable by us.
  14. We may ask you to provide additional documentation proving your source and destination of funds. Failure to provide such documentation will result in your account being suspended and/or transactions being refused or cancelled and consideration sent to us being returned to you.
  15. In the event your bank makes a charge-back of a payment made to us from you where we have delivered bitcoins to you in a bona-fide order you acknowledge that the full amount of the payment to us is still due and we may pursue recovery of these funds at your expense on an indemnified basis.
  16. You are not permitted to use any of our services for the delivery of bitcoin to support any activity that is are unlawful in the United Kingdom. We will close your account with immediate effect if we, at our own discretion, believe this is what you are doing.

    Ransomware
  1. We provide customer support and will supply bitcoin at your request to satisfy ransomware demands. We may require you to provide proof that you are being held to ransom. Satisying a ransomware demand is not unlawful in the United Kingdom although it is illegal in other countries in the world.
  2. You must contact us first before raising any order to satisfy a ransomware demand.
  3. If you raise an order to satisfy a ransomware demand we guarantee that we will deliver the bitcoins you purchase through us to the bitcoin wallet address in the ransom demand that you provide.
  4. You acknowledge that any payment of a ransom demand is at entirely your own risk and any monies sent to us are not refundable once bitcoin has been sent.
  5. You acknowledge that we are not liable for the non performance of the party receiving the ransom and that the ransom paid cannot be recovered by us.
